In the winter months it can be a slog to get through your regular routine, much less add something new. Here in Toronto, the snow is either shin high or a slushy, dirty mess and you count your blessings if you haven’t slipped on any ice. In these cold, dark months one of the best things you can do for your mind and spirit is to dance.
That’s why I’m taking it back to a classic from warmer days with the Boots On the Ground Line Dance. Let’s pretend it’s so hot that we need to fan ourselves off, but not so hot that we don’t want to gather in rooms with other people and share the joy of dance. Let’s stomp the snow off our boots and learn a dance, so that the next time you’re at a gathering you can holler “Where them fans at?” and get the party heated.
